'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 9 Spoilers: Shamy To Be Together For Thanksgiving?
The latest episode of CBS' hit sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9, saw Sheldon Cooper finally realizing the hard truth that it's really over for him and Amy. However, spoiler reports for the upcoming episode of the series hinted of a reunion that is about to happen between the ex-lovers.
Spoiler alert for those who still haven't watched "The Mystery Date Observation," which aired last Thursday, Nov. 12. The theoretical physicist put himself back into the dating game. With the help of the gang, they posted an advertisement on Craigslist indicating the type of woman that Sheldon wanted to meet. He listed someone smart and tenacious, qualities which are basically so Amy.
Vanessa Bennett arrived and Sheldon was apparently excited to meet her. But everything goes down the drain when the newcomer failed to solve Sheldon's Craiglist challenge on time. Amy, around this time, also felt disappointed with her date, Dave, who seems to be more interested with her genius ex-flame.

These events will eventually lead to this week's segment, "The Platonic Permutation." According to the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic, the two former lovers will once again spend some time together as they decide to spend Thanksgiving at the aquarium. Tension is surely expected because even if the meet-up is purely platonic, the characters know for themselves what they still feel for each other, especially Sheldon who had to turn down his new date in hopes of winning back Amy.
The summary for the episode, meanwhile, mentioned Wolowitz having a hard time at the charity event which he was invited by Bernadette, Raj and Emily to join. Penny, on the other hand, will discover the fact that Leonard may have known more about her than what she originally thought of.
