'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 News: Will Bernadette's News Change the Dynamics of the Group?

After the surprising news presented in the Valentines' episode of "The Big Bang Theory," fans have been wondering about what is to come in the upcoming episodes.

The most recent episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 revealed that Bernadette, played by Melissa Rauch, is pregnant. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the executive producer of the series, Steve Molaro, recently shared some details about the upcoming change in their lives.

When Molaro was asked how the actors, Melissa and Simon Helberg, reacted to the news, he revealed that the two are excited and concerned for the new addition in their character's family. He also addressed the fact that previous episodes of the series showed that Bernadette was not interested in children and how her perspective changed.

He said, "In the episode, they weren't really working hard at having a baby. They're nervous, they're excited and they're not 100 percent ready to go with confidence. So it's fun to see two people who just got on a rollercoaster that they weren't entirely sure they wanted to get on but they're ready to make the best of it."

However, the previous episode showed that Howard, played by Simon Helberg, is still unaware of the news. With that, fans are wondering about how Bernadette is planning to break the news to her husband. Molaro revealed, "I hesitate to get into the details of that but in the following week's episode, you get to see her tell him right at the beginning of the episode and it turned out beautifully."

In addition, the executive producer explained that the rest of the group will also have a positive response to Bernadette's news. While they will also show concern for what the future holds when the baby arrives, it was revealed that not much will change with the dynamics of the group.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 2 airs every Thursday nights.
