'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Spoilers: Amy Meets Meemaw
After years of dating, Amy will finally be meeting Sheldon's Meemaw in the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9.
It was revealed that episode 14 of season 9 will have the couple experiencing yet another pivotal moment in their relationship. It was reported that Amy, played by Mayim Bialik, will finally meet Meemaw, also known as Sheldon's, played by Jim Parsons, grandmother.
Titled "The Meemaw Materialization," it seems as though Amy and Meemaw will be experiencing some tension. It was stated that Meemaw will blame Amy for the breakup that happened during the season 8 finale.

However, this will not be the only trouble Meemaw will bring in the upcoming episode. It was stated that she will end up spilling the beans about Sheldon's plans before they had broken up. The finale of season 8 saw Sheldon getting ready to propose to Amy with his grandmother's ring. However, before he could, she told him that they should break up.
The executive producer of the series, Steve Molaro, recently teased that the engagement ring will be brought into light again during an interview with TV Guide. However, he also explained that fans should expect that the season will bring more focus to the other characters of the series.
He said, "I think it's time to take a little bit of a step back. The entire season so far has been pretty Sheldon-Amy-centric following their breakup and reuniting. This gives us a chance to take a little breather. Obviously, they're in it and they matter, but it's a chance to let them be in the background and refocus on the other amazing characters on the show."
With that, it was reported that the upcoming episode will also have Raj, played by Kunal Nayyar, in the storyline. He will be seen meeting with a scriptwriter who wants to work with him.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will air episode 14 on Feb. 4.
