'The Blacklist' Season 3 Episode 11 Spoilers: Liz Tries To Reclaim Old Life; Red's Identity Stolen?
After all the endless running and countless scheming, Liz is now a free woman. In last week's airing of NBC's hit crime drama TV series "The Blacklist," the FBI finally cleared off Liz's criminal charges. The upcoming episode, however, will find the former FBI operative struggling to return to the mainstream having realized that things will never be the same again. Meanwhile, Reddington is faced with a problem concerning his identity.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Mr. Gregory Devry," Liz will attempt to assimilate herself back into society and tries to live her former life.
In an interview, executive producer Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly that though finally exonerated, Liz won't return to her post in the bureau as one of its agents. Rather, she will be working as a consultant for them, which is exactly what Red's doing.
On the latter's part, the TFC summary hinted that he will once again be tapped by the task force to help them in their operation to infiltrate an organization comprised of "high-level criminals" who are currently at large. This mission will also be tied up to the ongoing fight against the Cabal, the group who relentlessly tried for many times to bring down Liz and Red.
The promo video for the episode further divulged the difficult situation that Reddington will find himself in. As shown, it appears that someone is assuming the identity of the infamous informant. The fake Red happens to hold a substantial amount of information like the real version. Making matters even worse, the impostor is turning himself in to the authorities.
"Someone is helping the FBI. Imagine when I realized it was me. Ray Reddington," the impostor said while calling Red the copycat. The real deal, meanwhile, simply shrugged off the other's claims.
Find out how these things unfold when "The Blacklist" Season 3 airs this Thursday, Jan. 21, at 9 p.m. on NBC.
