'The Blacklist' Season 3, Episode 16 Spoilers: Liz Still Searching for Leads About Her Mother
Following the dramatic hospital events of the previous episode, "The Blacklist" season 3, episode 16 will lead fans to another hunt, but this time, it won't just be the search for another murderer — it will be Liz's continued hunt for answers to the questions she has about her mother.
In the previous episode, Liz has decided to keep her baby and raise it no matter what trials she has to face, especially now after Tom (Ryan Eggold) ended up at the hospital. Liz's pregnancy may have become a fueling agent for her to continue looking for her real mother.

Titled "The Caretaker," the episode will also see Liz and Red (James Spader) trying to discover the truth about the death of a State Department official. The said official was found dead in Beijing and the duo will have to dig deep into his connection with a mysterious keeper only known by the alias "The Caretaker."
This new villain keeps a safety deposit vault for criminals around the world, and while it has yet to be revealed what other secrets he has, Liz and Red are convinced that he holds the key to classified secrets that can solve the State Department official's death mystery.
Regarding the previous episode's painting made especially for Red, it is speculated that Liz's real mother is now after Red, and though there are still a lot of twists expected to happen, Red may actually lead Liz to her mother's hideout. After all, the two have largely become connected to each other while working together in big cases and eliminating big bads around the globe.
It is also rumored that Liz will completely cut off all ties she has with Tom in the upcoming episodes. With her freedom, fans are rooting for a romantic storyline to finally be crafted between her and Red.
