'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 18 Spoilers: Harry Pleads Joe To Convince Barry
The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "The Flash" Season 2 returns this week with the highly anticipated brand new episode that will see Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) doing a very risky mission which could put a stop on Zoom's (guest star Teddy Sears) rampage. However, the plan to vanquish the evil won't be that easy for Barry to undertake.
In a sneak peek for Episode 18 titled "Versus Zoom," Harry (Tom Cavanagh) can be seen talking to Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). The Earth-2 Dr. Wells pleads the police officer to convince Barry to reconsider reopening the breach. Only through this way can the Flash defeat Zoom.
It's understandable in Harry's side to go against Barry's plan as he fears that the opened portals could once again endanger the life of his daughter.

"I think it's just as dumb as you do, but I already learned a long time ago that I can't talk to Barry out of anything once he sets his mind to it," Barry's adoptive father explained.
Joe went on to rationalize that Barry's action to go head to head with the enemy is the better thing to do, given that Zoom has been casting terror and fear everywhere he goes. For him, it's only Barry who could end this animosity.
The CCPD police detective pleads Harry in return that rather than think about his family, he must consider what is the greater good and help Barry in his mission.
"Help him," he told Harry, "because he's got a much better chance at defeating Zoom if you're involved."
Whether or not Dr. Wells will concede to Joe's bidding, the fans have yet to find out. However, it seems more likely that the Earth-2 citizen will extend his help given that he too has an issue with the evil speedster.
