'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Joe And Henry Strongly Go Up Against Particle Accelerator Explosion Ver. 2

Barry Allen of The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "The Flash" Season 2 proved to himself and to everyone that despite the lack of his speed and power, he could still pull off the heroic things that his alter-ego can do.

Spoiler alert for those who missed "Back To Normal," Team Flash was confronted with a metahuman who kidnapped Harrison Wells. Griffin thought he was dealing with the Wells who was behind the explosion of the particle accelerator. He forced Harry to do something about his condition, but obviously, the Earth-2 character wasn't able to provide. Meanwhile, the speed-less Barry, Cisco, Jesse, and Joe worked together to bring down Griffin. Although Barry has to receive a couple of superpowered punches, they were still able to defeat the enemy by tiring down the super-strengthened metahuman.

Barry, however, realized that he needs to have his speed back because Caitlyn Snow is still in danger. The whole team is kind of worried about their friend who is currently being held up by Zoom.

With desperate times comes desperate moves and Harry proposed before the episode ended that he knows exactly how to give Barry his power back.

The scenes featured in the promo video for the upcoming episode titled "Rupture" hinted that the people in STAR Labs will recreate the particle accelerator explosion with the hope that Barry can get the same effect as before.

As expected, someone will be up against the idea and that would be Barry's father, Henry.

"The last time [the particle accelerator exploded], he was in a coma for nine months," Henry warns Harry.

The Earth-2 refugee assures the Iron Heights ex-convict that he knows what he's doing. However, this can't take away the worry from the father's heart.

"This could kill my son," Henry insisted.

As for Joe, the Futon Critic's synopsis suggested that Joe will support the plan. Could this put Joe and Henry at odds?
