'The Flash' Season 2B News, Update: Lead Star Grant Gustin Offers Updates To Fans
Avid followers of The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "The Flash" will surely have their minds blown when the show returns for the second-half of its Season 2 next month.
This revelation came right from the series lead star himself, Grant Gustin, who recently took to his social media to offer his fans some updates about the show's upcoming episodes. In his post, Gustin, who plays the titular hero, teased some of the reasons why viewers should not miss Episode 14.
"One more day of shooting before our cast & crew finally take a well deserved break. Halfway through 214, which will blow your minds. Truly," the 25-year-old actor's Twitter post reads.
Although Gustin failed to spill the beans on that particular episode, a report from TVLine had pretty much revealed what's in store for the episode.
Citing their sources, the media outlet divulged that "Peter Pan" actor Adam Stafford has joined the cast as Adam Fells. The latter was known in the DC Comics universe as the supervillain named Geomancer.
A brainchild of DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and comic book writer David S. Goyer, Geomancer is described as a "dangerous metahuman with the ability to create earthquakes." As it turns out, his purpose of using his ground-shaking powers is to draw out Barry Allen and eventually destroy him.
In the comics, he is a formidable foe of the Justice Society. The character first comes out as a gunslinger who attacks an African village. Later on, he joined the infamous Injustice Society.
Fells is slated to appear first on the 13th episode and then on the 14th episode of the series.
For the meantime, fans are already looking forward for the return of "The Flash" Season 2B which will be on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m.
For those who missed it, the mid-season 2 premiere is called "Potential Energy." The synopsis revealed that Barry will be facing the Mirror Master.
