'The Flash' Season 3: News and Updates, Barry Allen Suffers from Memory Loss, Cast, Plot, Release Date

"The Flash" Season 3 will be aired this fall. The events of 'Flashpoint' will give us a different view of what we already know about the 'Scarlet Speedster.'

There will be more characters joining in the adventure; Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) will be Kid Flash, while Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) will be the richest man in America. Barry Allen will be entirely foreign to Joe (Jesse L. Martin), his surrogate father, and Iris West (Candice Patton), his best friend. Aside from being alien to the people he knows, Allen will also be suffering from memory loss. In this entirely different era that he created, his parents are still alive.

Grant Gustin shared in a report recently that 'Flashpoint' will be seen for some time, but not for long. He added that only Barry knows about the time travel and when things start to be realistic, he then decides that it has been a selfish decision to turn back the hands of time. Thus, when the realization started to sink in, he tries to make it a little better and put things back together.

Memory Loss

When Barry went back in time for his mother, his memories disappeared as well as his powers. At this time, Kid Flash is a significant character since he is actually the young Barry Allen who lives in the era of 'Flashpoint.'

Jesse L. Martin also shared that Wally West is definitely Joe's son, but Wally has a different life that Joe does not know of.

It has been indicated that 'Flashpoint' will not last for a long time, which means Barry will be back to the present and lose his parents. Barry Allen will be going through a lot in this third season and will have to make big decisions in order for him to take on the role as "The Flash."

With Barry going back in time to change the series of events in his life, there will always be a permanent consequence to what he did.

"The Flash" Season 3 will be back on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.
