Executive Producer, Andrew Kreisberg shares in a report how Barry and his powers are going to fit in the show's reality where Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Jesse (Violett Beanne) also have powers of their own. He explains that Barry still has his powers and one of the major themes in the upcoming season is all about power.

"The Flash" Season 3's Flashpoint might cause certain indifference between Barry and his team. There are events that can happen within the team that can cause him to use his powers in a negative way.

A Competition Of Power

There are two villains in the upcoming season that can shake up Barry Allen in Flashpoint. Dr. Alchemy and Savitar will become parts of the Flash's life. Dr. Alchemy has his powers when he discovered a philosopher's stone. He used the power that he acquired for his own personal gain. Savitar on the other hand, has acquired an incredible speed right after he went through terrible accident. He then uses his speed to destroy those that come his way with the same abilities. He saw these as his competition so he wipes them out.

The third season will have a competition of powers from all the characters involved. Barry is not an exception. Other villains coming in will also fight in order to gain more power in the Central city. As Barry moves on from Flashpoint to the present, he gets to struggle in getting back being powerful especially that he encounters Savitar.

Barry needs to act quickly in order to restore the city's peace before the villains come in to destroy it. He also needs to be over the past to focus on the future and make the present times bearable.

Season 3 will be about getting power and trying to be the most powerful. Fans and followers can expect "The Flash" to be back on track on October 4, 2016.
