'The Good Wife' Season 7: 'Glee' Actor On Board; New Details For 'Iowa'

CBS' hit legal drama TV series "The Good Wife" Season 7 is about to introduce a new character. The latest casting report from TVLine indicated that "Glee" veteran Matthew Morrison has just signed in for a recurring role.

As further detailed, the newcomer will essay the role of Connor Fox. The latter is said to be an assistant US attorney who has the reputation for "putting the last four Illinois governors behind bars." The character is described to be a "tough and smart guy" and is particularly not fond of the Florricks.

The 37-year-old is currently performing for the Broadway production of "Finding Neverland" as J.M. Barrie.

The report from the media outlet, meanwhile, failed to mention the episode where Morrison is set to debut.

On the other hand, "The Good Wife" Season 7 will finally be returning to the small screens this Sunday. Details provided over for the episode called "Iowa" was shared at The Futon Critic where it reads:

"Tensions run high as the entire Florrick family is crammed into Peter's (Chris Noth) campaign bus with Eli (Allan Cumming) and Ruth (Margo Martindale) on their way to the Iowa Caucuses. Once there, Peter attempts a high-risk political stunt to gain votes for his presidential bid."

Taking hints from the summary, the latest events could mean that Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Eli will be spending a considerable amount of time together. This would be despite what Eli did six years ago where he deleted the message sent to her by Will Gardner (Josh Charles).

Eli's intention, however, was just to protect Peter's political ambitions and if that message reached Alicia, their efforts could all be gone to waste.

The question now for Alicia is that, will she be able to stand the person who was the reason why her relationship with Will didn't take off?

Find out how these things unfold when "The Good Wife" Season 7 airs Jan. 10 on CBS.
