'The Good Wife' Season 7 Spoilers: Peter's Campaign Issue
The upcoming episode of "The Good Wife" season 7 will be giving Peter Florrick some challenges as he goes on with this campaign trail.
It was revealed that episode 11 of "The Good Wife" season 7 will have the Florrick family heading to Iowa for Peter's campaign. Titled "Iowa," the episode will showcase Peter's attempt to win the presidential elections.
The synopsis of the episode reads, "Tensions run high as the entire Florrick family is crammed into Peter's (Chris Noth) campaign bus with Eli (Allan Cumming) and Ruth (Margo Martindale) on their way to the Iowa Caucuses. Once there, Peter attempts a high-risk political stunt to gain votes for his presidential bid."

Aside from the synopsis, a teaser video for the series was also released. It featured Alicia, played by Julianna Margulies, and Ruth as they discuss their purpose in life. It seems as though Alicia is facing some midlife crisis after seeing Peter's endeavors.
The actress recently shared some insight about her character during an interview with AOL. She stated, "They're gearing towards Alicia kind of having a nervous breakdown. In order to do that, they had to get to that phone call that's been haunting Eli all these years."
Another promotional video showed Peter's team trying to find a way to get in touch with the voters in Iowa. With that, fans can expect that the episode will have Peter doing all he can to win Iowa.
In addition to the Florrick family, it was revealed that a new character will be joining the roster for several episodes of season 7. It was stated that Matthew Morrison from the hit series "Glee" is expected to take on the role of Connor Fox.
His character is a tough assistant U.S. attorney who is reportedly responsible for placing the past Illinoi governors in jail. It was said that he will be bringing some obstacles to the Florricks and Peter's campaign.
"The Good Wife" season 7 airs on CBS every Sunday.
