The Newsroom Season 2 premiere airs on HBO on Sunday night July 14, 2013 at 10 p.m. ET with episode 1 entitled "First Thing We Do, Let's Kill All The Lawyers." The hit show, following Will McAvoy and his Atlantis Cable News (ACN) News Night team, will continue where it left off at the end of Season 1 with the team fighting to put on their news show amid corporate and commercial obstacles, as well as their own personal challenges.
The Newsroom Season 2 Episode 1 premiere can be watched on HBO from 10 p.m. ET or alternatively can be watched online through live stream (details below).
According to HBO, the Season 2 premiere of The Newsroom will follow Will (Jeff Daniels) and the "News Night" staff as they are questioned by their lawyer about a story they've aired that quickly becomes a network crisis.

A remark by Will on the show sees him pulled from the program's 9/11 anniversary coverage.
Meanwhile Jim, played by John Gallagher, Jr., volunteers to cover for an embed reporter on the Romney campaign, and Neal, played by "Slumdog Millionaire" actor Dev Patel, investigates the beginnings of Occupy Wall Street.
The new season of The Newsroom will bring back together the show's ensemble cast including Jeff Daniels as anchor Will McAvoy, as well as other cast members including Emily Mortimer, John Gallagher, Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Dev Patel, Olivia Munn, and Sam Waterston.
In 2012, after its first Season aired, The Newsroom was honored, along with four others, with the Critics' Choice Television Award for Most Exciting New Series. The series also received two nominations for the 70th Golden Globe Awards, for Best Drama Series, and Best Performance in a Television Series – Drama for Jeff Daniels. Daniels was also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.
