'The Originals' Season 2 Premiere Date, Spoilers: October 6, 2014 - Sebastian Roche Reveals Details

"The Originals" is an American television series which airs on The CW channel. It premiered its first season on Oct. 3 last year, with a pilot episode airing before the actual season on Apr. 25. The CW renewed the series for a second season on Feb. 13 earlier this year and is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 6.

Sebastian Roche, who plays as the Original vampire hunter Mikael in the CW spin-off series, hinted what his character will be dealing with after Davina -- played by Danielle Campbell -- brought him back to life in the Season 1 finale of the main series.

Roche knew that his role was not yet done even when his Original hybrid son Klaus Mikaelson killed him in Season 3 of "The Vampire Diaries."

"When you have Originals in the title and you're Papa Original, I knew that eventually I was going to pop my head in," Roche told in an interview with E! Online.

Roche assures fans that the scenes between him and his sons, Klaus and Elijah, are going to be intense when he returns for Season 2.

"Mikael has this thousand-year old rage and desire for revenge for his son," Roche added.

His desire to end Klaus' life, however, was unfortunately put on hold due to Davina's full control over Mikael since she was the one who resurrected the Original vampire hunter. Roche also mentioned that the Mikael-Davina relationship will be interesting since Davina has power over him.

Roche also mentions an interesting relationship between Mikael and Esther, a reunion after being away from each other more than a thousand years. At first though, Mikael won't be aware that Esther has returned in a body of a teenage witch and it will be interesting to see how Mikael would react when he finds out that his wife is back.
