'The Originals' Season 3 Episode 7 Spoilers: Thanksgiving Dinner Turns Dark; Cast Member Teases Show Details

The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "The Originals" will also be observing the spirit of the Thanksgiving when it returns this week with a brand new episode on its third season. However, as spoiler reports suggest, this gathering won't be as joyous as anyone would expect.

Citing the synopsis posted over at the Futon Critic for the episode titled "Out of the Easy," the Mikaelsons, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will send an invitation to Lucien (guest star Andrew Lees), Tristan (guest star Oliver Auckland) and Aurora (guest star Rebecca Breeds) to a Thanksgiving dinner. The occasion will also reportedly serve as an opportunity for the siblings to negotiate a truce. But the promo video for the episode suggests that the opposite of that might happen.

Shared over at Carter Matt, the trailer reveals Lucien prepping himself for the dinner. When asked, he flamboyantly explained that he's been called to the Mikaelsons. It is as if he already knows what will happen. His friend, however, insisted that it might not be a good idea to come over as this could be the family's ploy to "serve [his] head on a platter."

As foreseen, the dinner quickly escalated into a deadly confrontation as members of each group turned on one another.

In another development, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) decide to take matters into their own hands when they get the hints that Davina (Danielle Campbell) is already "in over her head." Meanwhile, Cami (Leah Pipes) finds herself in a sticky situation when a "dangerous new threat" surfaces.

On the matters about the talked-about "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" crossover event, cast member Phoebe Tonkin has something to say.

The actress, who plays Hayley in the series, recently told People.com that she's rather surprised that both shows haven't made one. She thought it would be a great deal for the fans of both The CW programming. Personally, she's excited to visit Mystic Falls and its characters once again.

"The Originals" Season 3 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
