'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Episode 9 Spoilers: Holiday Surprises

The upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 is expected to bring some holiday surprises for the characters.

A teaser was recently released for the ninth episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7. The teaser showed the characters of the series as they handle their challenges during the holiday season.

The two brothers Damon, played by Ian Somerhalder, and Stefan, played by Paul Wesley, were in the teaser, getting into the festivities. After grabbing some eggnog, the two were surprised by dead Santas. The two ended up somewhere where there were several bodies in Santa Claus costumes dead.

With that, fans can expect that the two will still have some issues to solve for the Christmas season. The next scenes revealed in the teaser showed Damon and Stefan working together to do some fighting. However, it was not revealed as to what or who were they fighting.

Another teaser photo was revealed, featuring Caroline, played by Candice Accola-King, with her new baby bump. It was recently revealed that Caroline was carrying the unborn sons of Alaric, played by Matt Davis. It showed that the two were visiting a labor clinic, as it featured other pregnant couples. It was revealed that Alaric will show some concern for Caroline and her pregnancy in the episodes to come.

The CW also released a photo of Bonnie, played by Kat Graham, on a trip with her friends, Caroline and Nora. It was revealed that Bonnie will attempt working with Nora. However, it will not go well. As for Caroline, it was reported that she will also have too much on her mind to enjoy their holiday trip together.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 plays on The CW every Thursday night. However, the series will start airing every Friday nights after its winter hiatus.
