'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Spoilers: Storylines for Bonnie and Enzo

The upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 is expected to bring focus on individual characters Bonnie and Enzo.

The executive producer of the series, Caroline Dries, recently spoke to TV Line about the plans for the upcoming episodes. She revealed that Bonnie, played by Kat Graham, will have her own storyline, which will have her working with Mary Louise, played by Teressa Laine, and Nora, played by Scarlett Byrne.

Dries revealed that the two will be getting closer throughout the episode as they go look for a vampire hunter named Rayna, who is played by Leslie-Ann Huff. She stated, "In addition to continuing her 'bickersome' relationship with Enzo, Bonnie will also keep exploiting the 'fissure' between Nora and Mary Louise — particularly when 'they become interested in the same thing.'"

In addition, it was revealed that the later episodes of season 7 will reveal more about Enzo and his past. With that, a new character named Alex, played by Mouzam Makkar, will be vital in helping fans get to know more about Enzo.

Dries stated, "She has ties to Enzo's backstory. As he's trying to find his place in the world, she comes in and says, 'Let me help you with that.' Is she good? Is she bad? What's her bigger agenda? We'll pull back her layers as the season goes on."

Meanwhile, fans of "Steroline" will be unhappy to hear that the series will soon showcase the end of Stefan and Caroline's relationship. Even though Caroline is in love with Stefan, it was revealed that she will eventually end up with Alaric. With that, fans will have a look at her struggle to move on from her relationship with Stefan. At the same time, she will become closer to Alaric as the season ends.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 is expected to air on The CW every Friday night.
