New Secret
The cast and crew of "The Walking Dead" have learned their lesson on how to keep their fans happy. To prevent further spoilage of the upcoming episodes of "The Walking Dead," those behind the series have created an elaborate plan to keep the story interesting. Their plan consists of releasing several set photos in for fans to determine what's happending based on leaked materials.
Through the photos, fans will get a sneak peek into the new plot of the episodes to come. Aside from that, Greg Nicotero, the executive producer of the series, decided to shoot the series out of order so that it will be more difficult to determine spoilers for the new season.
Previous Season Fails
Several spoilers were released about the previous season of "The Walking Dead," such as photos of production which showed the actors who are coming back. The past season of "The Walking Dead" tried to tease the death of Steven Yeun's character, Glenn. However, photos of the actor filming future episodes ruined the reveal.
About 'The Walking Dead' Season 7
While the finale of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 frustrated many fans, there is a lot of expectation regarding what the new season will bring. In a letter to the fans, Nicotero promised, "We have to do an episode that justifies it -- the cliffhanger -- to you. We have to do something so great and so intense that you're like, 'OK, all right, fair play.' That's the challenge that we have, and we're going to do it. We're going to deliver you something fantastic."
Nevertheless, fans can expected the new season to bring new challenges to the character of the series. In an interview with IGN, Nicotero stated, "The main thing about Season 7 is establishing that the world isn't what everybody thinks it is, the world out there. At the end of Season 6, Rick was so confident. 'We're just going to knock out that outpost, we're going to f--k these guys up before they f--k us up,' and it ends with him going, 'Heh, oh well, I had no idea. What I perceived as the world is not even close to what the reality of the world is,' and Negan's there to show him that."
