'The Winds of Winter' Release Date, Spoilers: Daenerys May Bring War to Westeros

Fans who have been looking forward to knowing the release date of George R.R Martin's "The Winds of Winter" are still waiting for the announcement. According to reports, four years of waiting have passed but up to now, there is still no official date scheduled for the debut of the sixth installment from the popular novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire."

Martin has been telling the public about his desire to finish writing the book before the start of season 6 of the TV series based on his novel "Game of Thrones." He has even limited his other agendas like interviews and convention appearances just so that he could concentrate and give the book his full attention. But HBO couldn't wait anymore for Martin's announcement and it has already announced when the show will return.

Christian Today reported that the new season of the HBO juggernaut will be on the small screen by April. A trailer has already been released as well. So the question of when the book will be out still remains unanswered.

There are rumors going around like the manuscript for "The Winds of Winter" being readied for translation and an early 2016 publication. But Martin stated that fans will have to wait as he will personally say when it is due to hit store shelves.

Meanwhile, plot spoilers have been going around as well. According to other reports, the upcoming book might tell of Daenerys bringing war to Westeros through the use of "fire and blood." Played by Emilia Clarke, Daenerys, the "Mother of Dragons," may cause the beginning of another civil war that will also bring thousands of deaths just to get what she wants and that is to make Westeros hers. If the spoiler rumor is true, there's a possibility that she will win considering the presence of her loyal dragons and army.
