'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers for December 31, 2015: Abby Calls Off the Wedding?
The upcoming episode of "The Young and the Restless" promises nothing but drama and tension for the Abbott family as Ashley unintentionally ruins all of her daughter's dreams.
In the previous episode, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) appeared just before the wedding ceremony between Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Stitch (Sean Carrington) started. Everything was running smooth, with feuding people trying to put their differences aside for Abby, but the unexpected happens.
As Stitch and Abby stand before the altar and are ready to say "I do," Ashley faints. Abby and the entire crowd are shocked with what suddenly occurred but the bride-to-be gets more surprised when Stitch runs toward Ashley to find out if she's okay.

Spoilers reveal that Abby's doubts for her mother will only be more fueled. She already feels that Stitch and Ashley may still have feelings for each other and there may be something going on between them. With Stitch's reaction to Ashley's fall, Abby will only be the more doubtful that Stitch has really fallen in love with her and completely erased her mother from his heart.
The spoilers also suggest that she will be torn between a bright future and her mother's feelings. Abby will only be more convinced that the flame between Ashley and Stitch has not been reduced to ashes as her mother wakes up from unconsciousness and asks for no other than Stitch.
While many fans were blown away by Ashley's fainting, some believe that she didn't mean to ruin her daughter's wedding. Everyone knows that she's still deeply in love with Stitch but is willing to sacrifice her feelings for Abby's happiness.
Ashley was definitely forced to support the wedding out of her love for Abby and she also has had a lot on her plate for the past weeks. Her headaches continue to rock her world and she had to put up a happy face in front of everyone as she watched Stitch and Abby at the altar. Her struggles might have led to her unexpected breakdown.
