'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Paul to Investigate Billy's Beating?

"The Young and the Restless" will see Paul launching an investigation to find out who beat up Billy, and he will reveal his intention to Marisa.

Billy had a chance to begin a new life with a cyber project with Kevin, but he was tempted to gamble at the last minute. He ended up losing the $2 million capital for his project in a horse racing bet, plus Gill the bookie's henchmen beat him up after he failed to pony up the cash he borrowed, according to Heavy.

As if the beating he took was not enough, Billy got backed over by Noah while the latter was pulling his car out of the garage. Billy was still on the ground trying to recover from the beating when the car ran him over and he ended up in a coma. Marisa saw what happened and called 911 for help, the Inquisitr reports.

Marisa will ask for help from Paul, and he will respond by conducting an investigation to find out who did this to Billy. He also told Marisa that he intends to find the driver responsible for what happened. However, Marisa will struggle to keep herself from snitching on Noah, the report details.

Viewers will find out if Marisa will tell Paul that Noah was the driver who ran Billy over. She does not know how exactly the incident happened and she will find herself in a difficult position. The next few episodes will focus on the drama surrounding Billy's situation.

Victoria, on the other hand, will think that Billy is responsible for his own injuries, and she will once again lose her faith in him.

"Billy is in that room there right now because of the choices that he made," Victoria will angrily tell Jack. "He did this to himself."

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that another actor will replace Burgess Jenkins as Billy Abbott, so fans are expecting the character to have a different face soon, the report adds.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays through Fridays from 12:30 p.m. ET to 1:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
