'Time Traveling Bong' Mini-Series: Sharee and Jeff Kidnap Young Michael Jackson to Re-Write History

In the second episode of the three-night mini-series, which took off April 20, "Time Traveling Bong," cousins and casual stoners, Sharee (Ilana Glazer) and Jeff (Paul W. Downs), continue in their efforts to right the travesties in history, not in an earth-shattering way, but only in as much time as their time travels allow them to be involved. This middle episode makes a few stops, but the two soon admit they are not worthy of deciding the course of history.

The first stop brings them to a pre-historic time where they hit upon a Cro-Magnon sex party where Sharee finds herself truly in her element, but Jeff's experience of being repeatedly raped by the women has decidedly unnerved him that he finds a way to get himself and Sharee out of there.

But the next hit on the water bong brought them to a cotton field during the slavery era, and so they try to help by freeing slaves they encountered by taking them along. It does not work out quite the way they wanted because free though the slaves had become, they land right in in America just time for the latter to enlist for the war in Vietnam. While there, Sharee and Jeff come up with a plan to kidnap the young Michael Jackson, thinking to free him from Joe Jackson's abuse, not caring that it would mean changing the future into one where Michael's music would not exist.

When they both decide to live out the rest of the year 1963 as parents to Michael, they find out just how things were in the past---and how much better life had become in the future they came from. When they decide parenthood was not their cup of tea, they give the boy back to his father.

As the realities of the past get to them, the two take another smoke, and the episode ends with them in Ancient Greece and a dystopian future. Lost in space and time, Jeff and Sharee need to find a way to get back to the present after the water bong that transports them is damaged.

The goofy comedy created by Ilana Glazer, Paul Downs, and Lucia Aniello has fans giggling at the antics of the two mediocre cousins while sneaking in some intelligent points.

Their next adventure airs tonight on Comedy Central.
