'Toy Story 4' Cast News: Tom Hanks Reveals Challenges of Being Woody
Fans of the "Toy Story" franchise will be happy to know that more details about the upcoming "Toy Story 4" movie have been revealed.
The actor behind the iconic character "Woody" has shared some details about how he portrays Woody's voice. Tom Hanks explained that he had a hard time creating the voice for Woody.
According to Radio Times, he said, "It's really hard work — honestly. Woody is very tense and the recording sessions go on for four or five hours so I always come out of a session with my diaphragm having had a workout. It is exhausting."

It was previously announced by Bob Iger, the Chairman of Walt Disney Co. Chairman, that the successful animated franchise of "Toy Story" will be receiving another installation. Fans will be happy to see their beloved toy characters come back to life.
"Toy Story 4" will be directed by John Lasseter, who is also the Chief Creative Officer of Pixar. He is known to have directed the first two "Toy Story" films. According to Slash Film, Lasseter expressed his excitement about his involvement in the new installment.
He said, "Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz's story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee, and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie-and I wanted to direct it myself."
He will be working with co-writers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack. Some teasers for the plot of the film have been revealed. Reports by Movie Pilot explained that the upcoming film will focus on Bonnie, since the previous "Toy Story" movies have always put focus on the themes of ownership and belonging. With that, it is expected that the film will take the perspective of Bonnie.
"Toy Story 4" is expected to release on June 16, 2017.
