Ubisoft Announces 'Assassin's Creed: Unity' Patch 3, Patch 1 and 2 Rolling Out on Xbox One
Ubisoft released the latest installment in their "Assassin's Creed" franchise, "Unity" and "Rogue." While the developers had claimed that "Unity" will be making full use of the Playstation 4 and Xbox One's hardware potential, the game has caused quite a stir in the gaming community with graphical glitches and gameplay bugs.
To fix these problems, Ubisoft has been releasing patches and only recently have they announced about releasing Patch 3. The major patch is bigger than the previous two, addressing most of the bugs which players have encountered the most.
A patch list has also been revealed but Ubisoft says it's not final yet and a more detailed list will be unveiled when the patch comes out.
Gameplay-wise, the patch will be fixing bugs where Arno keeps getting stuck in certain areas of the map, problems with getting in and out of cover, animaton bugs, as well as general camera problems.
With the AI & Crowd category, fixes concern the NPC animations, NPC navigation, crowd events, crowd stations, and bugs related to the NPCs detecting Arno's activities. Matchmaking will also be getting a fix where issues concering co-op play like joining games in-progress and problems with host migration.
Menu issues will also be addressed such as certain missing details, problems with mission objectives as well as pop-ups overlapping each other. Game crashes will also be addressed during both campaign and co-op modes.
"We are also investigating various performance issues including framerate drops, and are looking into how we can address them. We'll tell you more about our progress on that topic in the coming days," Ubisoft said on their blog.
The two previous patches which were made for the Playstation 4 and the PC will also be rolling out to the Xbox One versions.
