Ubisoft Delays Release Date of Tom Clancy's 'The Division' Again, Facing Criticisms for Production Issues

Ubisoft has been repeatedly delaying the release of third-person shooting game Tom Clancy's "The Division," and with another delay that moved the game to somewhere in 2015, rumors have it that Ubisoft is facing production issues.

Tom Clancy's "The Division" has been delayed numerous times in the past and the game, which will reportedly come out to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, has delayed once more to somewhere around 2015, with no estimated date in sight, according to Movie Pilot.

An anonymous source that is reportedly affiliated with Ubisoft even divulged that while the game engine works well enough, it's not yet done. In fact, the actual game development barely started and is not even ready by May this year, which hints at the fact that the game is most likely still having issues with bugs, server crashes, glitches and more.

Due to that, there has been no reports at all on just when it will possibly come out next year.
Ubisoft is already experiencing their fair shares of problems and is facing numerous criticisms over the release of "Assassin's Creed: Unity," which has been plagued with numerous bugs and issues, and "Far Cry 4," while "The Witcher 3" has also been delayed.

The company is also being accused of downgrading their games' graphics and frustration has erupted over numerous game issues and constantly delaying game releases. The accusations have extended to "The Division," as well, according to Kpop Starz.

Game developer Martin Helberg has reportedly disputed the claims before, saying that they wanted to make a game look its best in any format and in any console, while Ubisoft art designer Rodrigo Cortes also reportedly said that they do not "want to sell a fantasy" and want to tell gamers exactly the game they were playing.

This time though, Ubisoft is keeping mum on the faith of "The Division" or the other games on their roster. Only time will tell if Ubisoft will be able to hasten production and end up with scaled down graphics for the game or keep it in development hell for a long while.
