'Vikings' Season 4 Spoilers: Bjorn Heads into the Wilderness for Some Soul Searching

The upcoming episode of "Vikings" season 4 is expected to show Bjorn on his own personal journey.

It was revealed that Bjorn will soon be heading to the wilderness for some soul searching. According to IGN, the creator of the series revealed more details about Bjorn's reason to do so.

Hirst explained that Bjorn will try to learn more about himself by tackling the wild. He stated, "Bjorn has decided that he's got to find out who he is by going into the wilderness, into the Icelands, because he's got high-achieving parents who've always slightly patronized him. He believes that they don't believe he can survive. So he's going out there to prove something to himself and to find out who he is."

Meanwhile, Hirst also shared some details about what Ragnar will be up to in the episodes to come. It was stated that Ragnar will have to deal with his own obstacles, which will be related to his responsibilities as a king.

He revealed, "One of the things I think that's very interesting about the show and very interesting about the character is that he never wanted to rule. He didn't want the glamor. It's not glamorous to be king, at least as far as Ragnar is concerned."

In addition, Ragnar is conflicted with his new duties as a king since he initially did not want the power given to him. However, his character is now expected to deal with his current situation.

The creator of the series also spoke about regarding his interest in Ragnar's character. He explained that Ragnar was complex, which is why he has to deal with many problems regarding his family. Now, fans can expect him to overcome his challenges, along with his kingship responsibilities.

"Vikings" airs on the History Channel every Thursday nights.
