'Vikings' Season 5 News: New Teaser Artwork Revealed By History

Can't wait for "Viking" Season 5? Well History just released a new teaser art for the upcoming season set to premiere next month.

The art features the series' core characters: Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen), King Harald Finehair (Peter Franzén), Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) and Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) along with the words "Who Will Rise."

Needless to say, the words echo everything that has been building up last season following the death of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) which is the battle for the position of king. Ragnar's death also heralds a new era for the series which has followed his rise to power for its majority. It would be interesting to see which of character will take center stage or will the series divide its focus among all of them.

The 20-episode season will debut with Ivar asserting his leadership over the Great Heathen Army as it ravages the Saxon kingdoms all while Lagertha reigns as Queen of Kattegat after killing Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland). Ivar's murder of his brother Sigurd sets the stage for more battles as he and his remaining brothers fight to avenge the death of their father.

As for Bjorn, he goes to follow his destiny in the Mediterranean while Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård), who is suffering from the loss of his wife Helga, takes to the seas submitting himself to the will of the Gods. Jonathan Rhys Meyers also joins the cast as Bishop Heahmund, a fearsome warrior who fervently defends his faith and his king.

While Ragnar might be gone, the exploits of his sons continue. The series was recently renewed for a six-season which means fans won't have to say goodbye to the cast this season.

"Vikings" Season 5 will debut with a 2-episode premiere on Nov. 29, 9 p.m. ET only on History.
