Wiz Khalifa vs. Kanye West: What the Twitter Feud Was All About

Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa just had a heated Twitter feud that eventually led to the two of them throwing shade at each other's wife.

The Twitter feud between the two rappers is thought to have stemmed from Kanye West's decision to change the name of his upcoming album from "SWISH" to "WAVES." When Wiz Khalifa threw the first stone, West responded by posting a barrage of messages tackling a wide range of topics from music to fashion and family, according to Radio.com.

The publication speculates that the root cause of the Twitter beef is Wiz Khalifa's tweet that seemed to insinuate that West's new album was too close to Max B's own "Wavy" brand. The rapper, who was French Montana's mentor, was the one who began the New York club trend before he was jailed for robbery and murder conspiracy, the report explains.

"Please don't take the wave. Max B is the wavy one. He created the wave," said Khalifa in a tweet. "There is no wave without him. He's the reason I sing on all my songs. That's the wave. If theres nothing wit that sound ITS NOT WAVY."

Another flaring point on the social media rant was Khalifa's alleged reference to West's wife Kim Kardashian.

"Hit this kk and become yourself," Khalifa said in another tweet.

Although the point of his message is unclear, this prompted West to mention Amber Rose as a "stripper" who trapped her husband Khalifa. He even added that Khalifa must feel mad every time he looks at his child. It is worth noting that West used to date Rose before she got married.

An hour later, Rose responded by asking West if he was mad that she was not there for him anymore, E! Online reports.

After a while, West shifted to a better mood and said his upcoming album is a Gospel album, and that he just wants to promote peace and positive vibes. Then, he announced that he will delete the whole rant.

The Kanye West vs. Wiz Khalifa Twitter feud may have ended already, but fans have yet to see if the issue between the two rappers will continue.
