'World of Warcraft: Legion' News: No 'Ultimate Movie Edition' Bundle?

Fans have been waiting for any updates that Blizzard will announce following the release of "World of Warcraft: Legion," but it seems there are no expansions available yet as recent reports suggest that the expansion will not receive a bundle rumored to be given to fans who will watch the game's movie version.

While it isn't surprising that the developer will bring something out of the box in line with the movie's release, fans are a little bit confused as to why the latest expansion is out of the bundle list.

According to Nerdist, the company is discussing a nice gift to fans who will visit the theaters when "Warcraft" releases this summer. Those who will purchase a ticket will get the game including all of the expansions, except "Legion." This means fans will get the following: Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, and Warlords of Draenor. The outlet further states that fans ticket buyers will get an entire month of free game time — a gift that doesn't come every time of the year.

Reddit user fatsocks uploaded a screen shot of the alleged email that Blizzard has sent to people around the globe. Since the email is sort of a survey to ask for the opinion of people, it is still unclear if the developer will push through with the idea.

A typographical error was noticed by users, but Blizzard has reportedly acknowledged the mistake, making some fans speculate that the email may not be a hoax and it is likely that the company will proceed with the bundle-giving.

Despite the excitement for the said bundle, some fans expressed disappointment over the exemption of Legion on the list. On the other hand, a lot of players are looking forward to Blizzard's present to those who will decide to watch the upcoming movie.

"Warcraft" is expected to hit big screens on May 25.
