'WWE 2K16 News: Xbox Live Store Reveals Season Pass Details (VIDEO)

A new expansion Season Pass pack has recently been announced for "WWE 2K16," with details revealed on the UK's Xbox Live Store.

2K Sports' upcoming 17th installment in its WWE games franchise, "WWE 2K16," is due for release in three weeks and already, the pro wrestling video game publisher has announced it will be launching a Season Pass DLC to add to the over 120 characters already in the main game.

Based on a listing on the UK Xbox Live Store, the "WWE 2K16" Season Pass will add an additional 30 wrestlers, both legends, NXT superstars, and current pros, to the main game roster and also add over 30 new moves never seen before in the professional wrestling video game series.

It is also gearing to add a WWE Hall of Fame showcase campaign that will feature a total of seven matches starring a popular WWE Hall of Famer. It will also introduce players to the 2K Accelerator that works to unlock characters, areas, and abilities in the game much faster.

Speculations earlier emerged that the Four Horsewomen may be included in the additional 30 characters the Season Pass will be adding. However, a past announcement from 2K Games specified the group, which includes Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Bayley, and Sasha Banks, will not be included in the coming DLC.

Another rumor that pointed towards the addition of a MyPlayer Kick Start also proved to be a false lead.

Players will still have a Vader vs. Rikishi "big guy fight" in the main game to look forward to, as well as the ability to design custom socks for their characters.

"WWE 2K16's" Season Pass is set to be released on March 31, 2016 for $30. Meanwhile, the main game is available for pre-order at the UK Xbox Live Store, and will be launched on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 27 in the US, and October 30 in the Europe.
