WWE Latest Rumors: Titus O'Neil Slapped With Suspension Over Unprofessional Conduct

The WWE confirmed the news that one of its superstars, Titus O'Neil, has been suspended for 60 days due to an unprofessional conduct during Daniel Bryan's retirement announcement on "RAW" last Monday night. With that in consideration, it is pretty clear that he no longer will be participating in WrestleMania 32, which is the WWE's equivalent of the Super Bowl.

The incident happened during the end part of the retirement ceremony in honor of Daniel Bryan, where O'Neil appeared to grab the arm of Vince McMahon while he was walking up to the ramp with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. The grabbing of the arm was seen on camera.

Although there is no direct confirmation from the WWE or any representative saying that it was indeed the cause of the suspension, there seems to be no other angles to consider at this point. Interestingly, the WWE reportedly has possession of the footage, but one part of it, the one where Bryan was seen walking to the back has been edited.

The suspension received backlash from fans and wrestlers alike, with former hardcore star Mick Foley tweeting O'Neil, showing his support. Thousands of Twitter users also started using #wewanttitus as hashtag, showing their support to the suspended star.

Later in the day, more details came up, revealing what supposedly really happened. According to several reports, O'Neil merely grabbed the older McMahon's arm to let Stephanie exit the stage first. Titus talked to management about the incident and explained his part, but accordingly, he realized that the act of grabbing McMahon may have been misinterpreted in several ways.

In response to the new details of the incident, the WWE may have backed down a bit, amending the suspension to 60 days from the original 90 days. But it doesn't change the fact that O'Neil will no longer be allowed to appear for WrestleMania since he still will be deemed suspended at that time.
