'X-Men: Apocalypse' Photo Teases the End of The World

"X-Men: Apocalypse" director, Bryan Singer has released a new image on his social media account showing "the end of the world."

Director Bryan Singer has been keeping fans updated on "X-Men: Apocalypse" with a new Instagram image showing a two actors watching the end of the world on television.

The couple in the photo have been revealed to be the parents of Scott Summers/Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Alex Summers/Havok (Lucas Till) who are watching what Singer refers to as 'the end of the world as they know it."

Cinema Blend published news the film's screenwriter and producer, Simon Kinberg has said "X-Men Apocalypse" will contain a significant amount of destruction and anarchy audiences would expect from a disaster or monster movie, the monster being the ancient mutant, En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse, played by Oscsar Isaac.

Speculations have risen the scene the Summers couple are watching involves the havoc the Apocalypse's Four Horsemen are wrecking on civilization. The Four Horsemen are mutants Apocalypse has brainwashed and whose powers he has enhanced to perform his evil work.

One of the Four Horsemen has been confirmed to be Archangel (Ben Hardy), who will be playing Death. The identity of the three other Horsemen has not yet been released.

It is also not known how large a scope Lucas Till's Havoc will have on screen when the movie premieres on May 27, 2016, but Sheridan's Cyclops is said to be playing a major part in the film.

Hugh Jackman may be returning to his role as Wolverine, and Channing Tatum may make an appearance as Gambit to prepare audiences for his character's solo movie.

Actors reprising their roles include Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, and Evan Peters as Quicksilver.

They will be joined by newcomers, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Lana Condor as Jubilee, and Olivia Munn as Psylocke.
