Xbox One X Now Available, Retailers Have Stocks Left

The Xbox One X is now available which means all those pre-order bundles are gone as well. However, that doesn't mean gamers can't get their hands on the most powerful console ever.

All major retailers still have units in stock with some also offering bundles and limited edition consoles such as the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition. Amazon, Gamestop, NewGG, as well as the Microsoft Store are currently offering the console at the base price of $499 with some offering free shipping to US addresses.

While the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition was originally sold out during the pre-order phase, Amazon was able to get a hold of a few units. It's currently unknown how many are left but it doesn't cost any more than the standard version.

The Project Scorpio Edition has "Project Scorpio" inscribed on the console and controller as a neat nod back to the console's original name. For gamers looking for a limited edition Xbox One X console, better grab them while supplies last.

Gamestop, on the other hand, is offering a so-called "basic bundle" featuring the console an extra controller (the rarer all-red model) and three months of Xbox Live Gold all an extra $73. Additionally, GameStop is also throwing in a multi-socket surge protector with the bundle. While there isn't much saving to be had here, it's still a good option for those who like getting extras with their purchase.

Built for true 4K gaming, the Xbox One X requires 4K TV sets to fully unleash its potential. Fortunately, it's Black Friday season once again and retailers are slashing prices like crazy especially for electronics. For those looking for juicy deals on 4K TV sets, JCPenney recently unveiled their sale catalog and is opening an hour early on Thanksgiving this year allowing gamers to get as much as much as $600 off on certain Samsung and LG 4K TV sets to go with their new Xbox One X.
