5 Bible Verses for Troubled Marriages

When faced with difficult times in marriage, here are five Bible verses meant for perseverance and inspiration. All are taken from the New International Version.

1) 1 Corinthians 13:7
"[Love] always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

2) Matthew 19:6
"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

3) Ephesians 4:32
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
