Conservative political commentator Tucker Carlson conducted an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin that aired Thursday, marking the first time the isolated Russian leader has spoken with a Western journalist since the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Putin's conversation with the former Fox News opinion host went on for more than two hours and spanned topics extending centuries, ranging from the ongoing war in Ukraine and NATO to the Christian history of Russia and Putin's beliefs regarding the supernatural.
