50 Cent Wins $500,000 on Giants Win, Donates to Grandmother, Church

Rapper 50 Cent has won $500,000 on Sunday after successfully betting money on the New York Giants making it to the 2012 Super Bowl.

The rapper-actor, born Curtis Jackson, had to cheer on his hometown team against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday's playoff matchup, where the NY Giants defeated the 49ers in California, 20-17.

50 Cent, 36, posted his half-a-million dollar winnings onto his Twitter page, with the caption, "Just watched a 500,000 dollar foot ball game... Some times I hear voices in my head they tell me thing. Like bet on GIANTS so I listen."

However, the "Righteous Kill" actor has also decided that he would give his winnings away.

"Street king baby I'm a king I do this. I'm giving this money to my nana she gonna faint... all she do is go to the church," 50 Cent tweeted.

The rapper is no stranger to flaunting his cash. Two weeks ago, Jackson and his professional boxer pal, Floyd Mayweather Jr., posted pictures of themselves on Twitter flaunting thousands of dollars in a Las Vegas hotel room.

"I was thinking I could make a lot of money one day. Then I got mad cause some chumps was hatin on me. So I joined a gang lol THE MONEY TEAM ... We made it mom top of the world!!!! (James Cagney voice) lol," the rapper tweeted.

50 Cent has received one Grammy award and 13 Grammy nominations. He has also won 3 American Music Awards.

The Super Bowl championship game, which is scheduled for Feb. 5, will feature the Giants against the New England Patriots.
