6th Annual Holy Hip Artist Showcase, Music Awards Begin
The 6th Annual Holy Hip Hop Artist Showcase and Music Awards kicked off Friday morning at the Earthlink Live Arena in Atlanta.
The event is part of Holy Hip Hop Week, which began on Jan. 9 and will end on the Jan. 16 with the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Day of Freedom at the King Center in downtown Atlanta.
Tonights Artist Showcase, which starts tonight at 7 p.m. EST, will feature nearly 60 artists including acts such as Soldiers On a Mission, Gods Fam, New Covenant, and Soulistic.
Honorees for this years Holy Hip Hop Music Awards, which will be given out tomorrow, include Phanatik, L.A. Symphony, John The Baptist, Mars Ill, and others.
The 2006 Holy Hip Hop Artist Showcase and Music Awards, which are put on by Holy Hip Hop ministries, is a Tri-Alliance Strategic Partner with New York-based ministry RapFest and the Tampa-based FlavorFest, whos mission is to proliferate Hip Hop Ministry world-wide, without compromise or delay, according to HolyHipHop.com.
