Every day we put the news on and it seems that there is always a new case of conflict in the world. Whether it be between nations, races, or even religion it often is rooted to hatred. Hatred cause conflict to occur. It may be difficult to solve hatred, but we can use the unconditional love of Christ as a response to a hateful person.

The truth is, we are going to have conflict whether we like it or not. It is a part of life that we can't control in full. The key to dealing with conflict is to follow God's word and respond obediently. It may be easier said than done, but we must not lose the faith. If conflict is ignored there is a strong chance that it will continue. There are so many different ways conflict can be cause in your life and the world. It can be stirred up by a hot tempered heart, a greedy heart, hated heart, or even angry heart.

If you happen to see conflict and feel that you can help solve it, try your best to do so. The key to stopping conflict is to deal with it right away and trust in God.

"A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel" (Proverbs 15:18).

"A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends" (Proverbs 16:28).

"The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the Lord will prosper (Proverbs 28:25).

"An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins" (Proverbs 29:2).

"But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses'" (Matthew 18:16).
