Beyonce Comeback Concert Announced, Jay-Z Pushing for $150M World Tour?

Beyonce has officially announced that her first post-baby performance will take place on Memorial Day weekend in Atlantic City, N.J. Her husband, rapper Jay-Z, is also reportedly working to put together a $150 million world tour for the new mother.

Beyonce's first performances after giving birth will take place on May 25, 26 and 27, and will coincide with the launch of the newly built $2.4 Revel entertainment center and resort in Atlantic City.

Although the concerts will take place four months after Blue Ivy's birth, some say Beyonce's music mogul husband has been discussing her return to the stage weeks after his daughter was born. Jay-Z reportedly attempted to broker a deal with Live Nation, the company that co-manages Beyonce along with her husband's Roc Nation record label.

A source told The New York Post about Jay-Z's failed attempt to help his wife gain $150 million.

"Just weeks after the birth of Blue Ivy, Jay met with Live Nation to discuss a tour for Beyoncé. He wanted a deal worth about $150 million, but they countered with a lower offer," the source told the publication.

Although there has been no confirmation about the world tour, Revel has announced that tickets for the Beyonce shows will go on sale April 6. Fans of the singer took to Twitter to express their excitement for the upcoming comeback show.

"Beyonce's concert is gonna be sold out in 30 seconds though," one fan tweeted.

Another spoke about saving money to purchase a ticket to one of the three shows. "So when do these Beyonce tickets go on sale," the fan questioned in a tweet. "(Putting) money to the side."

The singer will reportedly debut a billboard to promote the concert series in New York City's Times Square on Tuesday.
