'Castle' Season 8 Spoilers: Aubrey Plaza as a Homewrecker?
Several new characters are expected to join the second half of "Castle" season 8.
It was recently revealed that Nick E. Tarabay of "Spartacus" will soon be featuring in an upcoming episode of "Castle" season 8. He will be portraying a character named Vasily Zhirov.
Apparently, the character Vasily Zhirov was described as a Russian agent for the Diplomatic Security Service. However, his presence will be bringing some tension to Kate Beckett, played by Stana Katic.

The executive producer of the series, Alexi Hawley, recently spoke to TV Line about the new character to come. He stated, "We get a little 'Red Heat' action. We have a diplomatic security agent from Russia who comes, because there is the death of a Russian national. He's a big character."
In addition, it was revealed that Tarabay will not be the only new face for the rest of the season. It was stated that another new character will be portrayed by Ellen Woglom from "Californication." She will be taking on the role of a cadet who will become close to Kate. The character will make her debut in the 15th episode of the season, which will see Kate heading back to where she had her training before joining the team.
Aside from that, fan favorite "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza will also be lending her voice in an upcoming episode. It was revealed that she will be the voice of Rick's home operating system named Lucy.
The actress recently shared a teaser on her official Twitter account. She posted, "@NathanFillion remember when I was the voice of your smart house and we fell in love?!?!?! #deletedscenes #castle."
With that, fans can expect some comedic moments as it was revealed that Kate could begin harboring jealousy toward Lucy.
"Castle" season 8 is expected to return on ABC this Jan. 29.
