'Castle' Season 8 Spoilers: Valentine's Day Romance for Kate and Rick?
Details about the upcoming Valentine's Day episode of "Castle" have been revealed.
After episodes of seeing Kate and Rick pretending to be separated, fans are expecting some romance for the special Valentine's Day episode. However, it was revealed that things may not go as smoothly for the episode to come.
Episode 10 of the series, titled "Witness for the Prosecution," will see Castle, played by Nathan Fillion, busy handling a case. He will be calling to Beckett, played by Stana Katic, to help him solve the case before an innocent man becomes convicted with a crime. In addition, it was revealed that Castle will be called on to testify.

With that, the executive producer of the series, Alexi Hawley, shared some interesting details about his upcoming testimony to TV Line. Hawley said, "For the first time ever in Castle history, you go into a courtroom, you actually see a trial based on a case."
Meanwhile, Terrence Winter also gave an interesting insight about Castle's experience during the trial. He said, "He's an 'interesting' guy to give testimony. He has to take the stand — annnnnd it kind of goes sideways."
With that, Hawley also added, "There's fallout from that, some scrambling to do damage control!"
However, the upcoming episodes are also expected to shed some light on Castle's disappearance from the previous season. According to TV Guide, Hawley also explained that the upcoming episodes will bring some resolution to issues.
He explained, "Our hope was to take the threads — the conspiracies, Sen. Bracken, Castle's missing time — and really tie them off in a compelling, satisfying way, so that in season 9 we can tell really compelling standalone stories and leave the conspiracy part of it behind."
"Castle" season 8 is expected to air on ABC every Monday nights.
