The singer's weight was not only criticized in the media but by E!'s "Fashion Police" co-host Kelly Osbourne.

"Women, we are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny," said "The Voice" coach. "You got to be a strong, powerful, very confident woman."

The 31-year-old added that the support from loved ones also boosts her self-confidence.

"I have a boyfriend that loves my body," said Aguilera referring to Matt Rutler. "I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is all that matters."

Aguilera also discussed "The Voice," which returns to NBC on Feb. 5 following the Super Bowl. She said that the reality singing competition is "good" for her.

"Being in a position to coach these young women, I am happy to be able to share that with them and share my highs and lows," said Aguilera.

The television series will start its second season with the return of cast members that include Carson Daly, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine.

Also joining the new show's cast this season will be "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson. The singer will reportedly appear on an episode of "The Voice" which will air in March or April.
