Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake Team Up for New Movie

Clint Eastwood is teaming up with Justin Timberlake in the new movie "Trouble With The Curve."

This is the first movie Eastwood will star in since 2008's "Gran Torino," which was the highest-grossing Eastwood film of all time.

He told reporters back then, "That will probably do it for me as far as acting is concerned. You always want to quit while you're ahead. You don't want to be like a fighter who stays too long in the ring until you're not performing at your best."

Eastwood has directed over 30 films, including the biopic "J. Edgar," which was released last month. He will star with Justin Timberlake, who has starred in comedies such as "Bad Teacher" and "Friends With Benefits."

Timberlake has had a notable singing career but has yet to find his niche in the acting world. This will be one of the first times he takes on a serious role.

The plot of "Trouble With the Curve" features Eastwood as an aging baseball scout who is having trouble with his sight. He manages to convince his daughter to go on a scouting road trip.

Timberlake will play Eastwood's friend, a former pitcher and talent spotter for the Yankees. Amy Adams has been cast as Eastwood's daughter, who is also a love interest for Timberlake's character.

"Trouble With the Curve" is also the first movie Eastwood has starred in but not directed since 1993's "In the Line of Fire." The movie is set for a Sept. 28 release, and many believe that it will put Eastwood on the list for an Oscar nomination.

Fans have expressed excitement about "Trouble With The Curve."

User RightToMyOpinionBub wrote on MSN's website, "Glad to hear Clint hasnt (sic) hanged it up yet, always enjoy his films. This sounds perfect for him."

Amy Adams tweeted, "Ready for the Pitch! This is getting exciting!"
