Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry Dating News: Magazine Slams Alleged Dating Rumors

As if the Prince Harry-Pippa Middleton rumor wasn't enough to feed the appetite of paparazzi and outlets that are totally into spreading rumor after rumor, a new rumor about Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry has recently emerged.

The rumors suggest that "Friends" co-stars and small screen sweethearts Cox and Perry are actually dating. While the chemistry between Cox, who plays Monica, and Perry, who plays Chandler, is undeniable on screen, it might be too much to put the two in a report that doesn't have enough evidence.

What's even more interesting is the rumor popped out just a few weeks after Cox broke off her engagement with "Snow Patrol" guitarist Johnny McDaid. It seems Cox won't be spared from the buzz.

Perry, on the other hand, has been single since his split with Lizzy Caplan in 2012 and has not been linked to any other woman or co-star for the past years.

The reports also said that a source revealed how everything started. Perry reportedly asked Cox to come over so they can "talk," which then led to their secret relationship that was recently busted.

"They've leaned on each other before, during her infertility struggle and his battle with addiction," the source reportedly said, which to Elle Magazine is surprising since they are actual friends behind the scenes.

The reliable and famous outlet went on to slam the rumor, noting that the new "couple" probably won't invite co-star Jennifer Aniston when they tie the knot since the latter didn't invite Perry to her wedding with Justin Theroux.

Here's what the magazine thinks of the new gossip: "They've [Cox and Perry] been linked in a new dating rumor that's probably totally made up, but CAN YOU IMAGINE???"

It only got more exciting since E! News has confirmed that the two are so NOT dating at all. The news may come as a total shocker to those who believed in the rumor, but fans of the on-screen couple should just at least give Cox some time to move on. After all, she and the rocker have tried to salvage their relationship before deciding that things didn't go the way they wanted.
