'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Spoilers: Dr. Reid Dines With His Deadly Blind Date

CBS' hit police-procedural drama TV series "Criminal Minds" Season 11 is finally back on the airwaves this week with an episode that is slated to see Matthew Gray Gubler's character, Dr. Spencer Reid, take centerstage as he attempts to take down the infamous hitmen group known as the Dirty Dozen. Meanwhile, fans are also excited to see a "Parks and Recreation" actress guest-starring in the episode.

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "Entropy," the criminal profiling branch of the FBI, the Behavioral Analysis Unit, will be concocting a plan to take on the Dirty Dozen. As fans can remember, the organization had attempted to kill one of the BAU's colleagues, Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness). The latter is currently under protective custody.

Fortunately, it seems like things are looking up for the group as it has been reported that Hotch (Thomas Gibson) has uncovered a major breakthrough in the case. It is expected that this development will be revealed in Episode 11.

Whatever that is, this revelation about the criminal group will be used by the BAU to set up their plan against the Dirty Dozen. It happens that Reid will play an integral role in the execution of the game plan.

Whether this could be connected to the main issue or not, the promo video for the episode featured the nerd FBI agent sitting at a table and enjoying the night with a dashing woman named Cat Adams (played by Aubrey Plaza), who happens to be his blind date of the night. Unfortunately, things escalate when it is discovered that a bomb, which was planted by Reid's date, could blow up not just the restaurant the two are sitting in but the whole block as well.

Could Adams be involved with the Dirty Dozen case? How will the techy operative be able to manage the dangerous situation?

Find out how these events unfold when "Criminal Minds" Season 11 airs this Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
