However, these teams have a recent history of things going back and forth, with the Saints winning three in a row before falling to the Lions in each of their last two match ups against one another.
Many fans will remember the 2014 clash when the Lions gained victory 24-23 with two touchdowns in the final 3:38.
Then last December, Detroit gained victory at the Superdome 35-27, a result which all but ended the Saints' postseason hopes.
