'Downton Abbey' Season 6 Spoilers: Wedding Preparations In Episode 3 Take A Turn For The Worse
Mr. Carson (Jim Carter) and Mrs. Hughes (Phyllis Logan) are now about to walk down the aisle in the upcoming Episode 3 of PBS' hit period drama TV series, "Downton Abbey" Season 6. However, the would-be couple still hasn't arrived at an agreement regarding the details of the ceremony.
Adding more pressure to the situation is the bride-to-be's utter dislike for the person overseeing things, Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery), with whom Carson seem to be ok with.
According to the synopsis shared over at the International Business Times, a "wedding-dress drama" is expected to take a "disastrous turn." Meanwhile, "the breakfast battle is being settled."

The person getting cornered here is Mrs. Hughes. The latter is in need of a wedding dress, but she has to keep in mind that the dress shouldn't supersede that of Lady Rose's (Lily James) last year. Needless to say, she has to keep her tight purse in mind.
Aside from the dress issue, the bride also still has to figure out what they would be having for breakfast as it is a tradition for everyone to have a morning meal together after the wedding ceremony. The problem here is that Lady Mary has some specific choices that come opposite with Mrs. Hughes'. Whose decision will be followed?
Meanwhile, someone is coming to rescue Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael). The lady, as of the moment, is in London for a deadline. Problems arise when Mr. Skinner (Paul Putner) appears to be quite stingy with Lady Edith's situation. Fortunately, her knight in shining armor, Bertie Pelham (Harry Hadden-Paton) arrives. But will there be some strings attached to the gesture or will it just be an act a colleague normally does?
In another development, things are getting more intense back at Downton as Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) continues to antagonize Robert (Hugh Bonneville).
