Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are involved in nearly every aspect of their children's lives, and that includes courtship. The couple decided to take daughters Jessa and Jill, along with their beaus, out for a triple date and a lesson in etiquette.

"The plan was a big surprise. We're going to go and learn some dinner etiquette!" Michelle says in the upcoming episode of "19 Kids & Counting."

"I was really nervous," Jill's fiancé Derick Dillard told the camera. "I've been in a country where we ate with our hands for two years."

The etiquette expert taught the couples the proper rules of dining, including for the young men to pull out the chairs for their partners and how to hold their silverware, which came as a bit of a struggle for Seewald.

He spent that time as a missionary in Nepal along with his parents. Jim Bob and Dillard were prayer partners and Jim Bob decided that he might be a good fit for daughter Jill. He was right, and the two hit it off immediately. They are planning to marry on June 21, though it's still unknown whether TLC will film the event so fans can watch the first Duggar daughter marry.

Jessa and boyfriend Ben Seewald also joined their parents on the date, and he offered a "toast to love" before they enjoyed a delicious dinner. He and Jessa have been courting for some time now, and there's speculation that they will soon announce their own engagement. The couple, sticking to the rules of courtship, have decided to postpone any physical intimacy, except for a brief side hug, until they announce that engagement. They refuse to even hold hands until that time.

Seewald's toast delighted everyone at the table and even made probable future brother-in-law Dillard a bit jealous, but all in good fun.

"I wish I'd thought of it," Dillard said.

"Ben – he is such a sweet romantic," Michelle gushed. "I thought, 'how precious!'"

The episode of "19 Kids & Counting" featuring the triple date will air on Tuesday night on TLC.
