Evelyn Lozada Inspired by Meagan Good's Marriage

Evelyn Lozada is opening up about her daughter helping her overcome domestic violence and looking to actress Meagan Good and husband DeVon Franklin as an example of real love.

Lozada, the 37-year-old reality television star, will grace the cover of Vibe Vixen magazine for the publication's February-March beauty issue. In the magazine, she opens up about overcoming a domestic dispute that took place last summer involving her ex-husband and NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson.

Her 19-year-old daughter Shaniece Hairston helped her overcome the incident, according to Lozada.

"She's been with me since the day of, and for three months, we were together. I was having anxiety, so I slept next to her; we were connected at the hips," Lozada told Vibe Vixen. "She stepped up to do things that I mentally didn't want to do."

The reality television star has been forthcoming about moving on from Johnson in a number of publications and recently told Celebuzz about her desires to let God choose her next husband.

"I still want to be a mother, I still want to have other children, I still want to get married and have a family," Lozada told Celebuzz recently. "Only this time, instead of me choosing, I'm going to allow God to choose whomever for me."

She spoke about what she is looking for in her future husband.

"I just want a good guy. A family man who wants kids," Lozada told Celebuzz.. "I don't want five kids, but one or twins would be great."

The reality television star and author told Vibe Vixen that couples like actress Good and her preacher husband who also serves as a Hollywood executive, DeVon Franklin, have inspired her.

"I really look up to Meagan Good and her husband, DeVon [Franklin]," Lozada revealed to Vibe Vixen. "I heard him preach, and this man had me in tears. I was like, 'Wow, this is a man.'"
