'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12 Rumors: Maggie and Andrew to Become a Real Couple; Meredith's Evolution Continues
Following the explosive drama that season 12's eighth episode provided, it seems that the upcoming episodes will be much more lighter, at least for Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti).
Some photos posted on the show's Facebook page led fans to believe that the two doctors are finally ready to take their relationship one step further, meaning, they will probably become a real couple when the season returns after the holiday break.
For the most part, the two haven't really discussed a romantic and more sincere relationship even if they've already spent time in bed together. This is probably because Maggie still has a lot of doubts about herself.

It is only reasonable that Maggie might think it's unfair to move forward with Andrew since she has a feeling that she might not be totally over the news that her ex-boyfriend, who she probably still has some feelings for, is getting married to someone else.
At one point, she did try to open up about her past to Andrew, but it seems the longing for love and caresses was too much for both that they forgot their issues altogether and just decided to get into bed once more.
The speculations only added up when fans saw the Facebook photos, giving them the idea that the upcoming episodes may unveil a much more intimate relationship between the two instead of just settling on a fling.
Meanwhile, executive producer Shonda Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly that season 12B will surely explore more of Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) evolution. By evolution, she means that Mer will probably be more of the angry and bitter person that fans saw in the previous episodes.
On the other hand, there's still hope for the widowed doc to pick up the pieces and realize that she has to move on without Derek (Patrick Dempsey).
Part 2 of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will start airing on Feb. 11, 2016 on ABC.
